10Pts! How to measure the resistance of a copper plate?

In an experiment I have a small, thin copper plate which has eddy currents induced within it from an external magnetic field. How could I measure the resistance in the copper plate with a multimeter as these currents are induced? Would the currents influence the measurement at all? Please help!
