Tonsillectomy: hydrocodone vs tramadol vs etc?

Use which ever gave you the best pain relief. What you're going through are side effects that are usually short lived. The side effects should subside with every dose you take, so pick one stick with it and don't mix them. Additionally, don't take any Tylenol if you decide on the hydrocodone, that pill has more than enough in it to cause organ failure. Feel better soon.
