Can ssa deny benefits for ssdi due to your age?

I was told that they believed that my conditions are sever, but that i was so young. And that it hard to get benefits when you are young (32 ). The conditions I applied for are : Chronic Crohns Disease, Chronic Pain, Hidradenitis Suppurativa, weakness, carpal tunnel syndrome, tarsal tunnel syndrone, Chronic back pain with disc buldge, migraine,perasthesia,etc. the list goes on and I was in a wheelchair.
