GOUT- My dad has sever gout...please help!?

My father has sever gout. He's seen medical doctors and nutritional food stores. Nothing seems to work for him. Does anyone out there have any personal success stories they are willing to share that might work for him? Anything is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
