What product does a 14 year old use for acne?

OK I am a 14 year old girl with a medium acne problem. Its very bad but not sever. I tried proactive and it dried out my face. Neutrogena I hear works but the regular stuff just doesn't do much. My parents don't like the idea of spending 40$ on just an acne cleanser. Plus I am going to high school in september is there an acne cleanser for me out there.
