Computer wouldent power on after being repaired try serveral things could it be the cpu blown up?

i have an amd le processor that was in an etower emachine. Was supposed to have windows 7 on it after a repair but was sumhow not working at all so i removed the old psu put it into another computer and i got nothing for power so i figured stock psu was bad. A month later i replaced with another psu was only a 20 pin i herd noise now when i powered it on figured maybe video is shot replaced nothing . After that i had remebered something about amd processors being fussy about runnin wit anything below like 325 or 350w so i said screw it then i ripped out the big dog a 650w psu and installed it nothing was working at that point no fans nothing so i question some plugs being loose i unplugged the 4 pin connector plug that was near the cpu i powered on i hear fans now. so it was at that point i was scratchin my head. I said well i got a newer amd motherboard hanging about am3 backwards compatable so i popped the old le chip into it and hookedall the plugs up and i got nothing so once again on the new board i go unplug the 4 pin plug power on bingo fans turn on but yet the same no video lead me at this point to believe the cpu is junk??? is it possiable that the original board is still good and would work with another chip. The newer board was tested with a quad core and worked fine so i do know that one board used was working and both boards without the 4 pin connected just 24 pin showed signs of fans working

All I know is that some of the cartoons have lots of snots and drool on them. I am a 19 year old male and for a few 6 months or so, I have had off --and-on painful bowel movements. They are not usually painful until the point where it is almost about to exit. After the movement, as I begin to wipe, I notice either a little or a lot of blood either on the toilet paper or on the actual stool, sometimes the bowl. There is rarely blood on the stool itself, but sometimes there is. The blood usually goes a way after a few wipes, but the wipes are almost always painful on my sphincter. I am divorcing my wife who has a mental disorder where she si a serial cheater and liar. She has 10 years of therapy ahead of her, she has Borderline Personality Disorder and almost a year of therapy under her belt. We have two children. She is not advised by her therapist to date and to work on herself first. I too would like to be celibate until the divorce is final as i want to completely finish one thing before starting another. I see no reason to bring in third parties until our divorce is final. They could complicate and create friction that is an already tenuous process of filing bankruptcy and then filing and finalizing the divorce. Again, we have kids involved and a lot to do. It is highly-advised to file bankruptcy jointly no matter how much a couple cannot stand each other. We are mostly civil. And i am aware that since she has been a serial cheater and serial liar due to her disorder that she is prone to fail if we agree to being celibate and single until divorce and joint matters are totally severed. She says her therapy has her stable enough to honor this understanding to the end. I have my doubts, but I am in no hurry to get into any relationship until way after divorce is final. The children will be a lifelong shared products of the marriage and we both are fully aware of that needless to say.

the only way you can truly have too much RAM is if you have so much that seek times are slowed down as a result. if the OS won't support it (most 32bit OSs only support 4GB for example) then it simply won't use the rest. If you have a 64bit OS then I would go with 6GB or 8GB (I'm fuzzy on the DDR3 rules but I know my ASUS rampage MB requires RAM in sets of 3 or else it runs at DDR2 speed and not DDR3... however I see a lot of MBs that use DDR3 with only 4 RAM sockets which makes it hard to add RAM in sets of 3). for gaming 4GB will usually do just fine and higher end games may make use of more RAM but if you are just playing something like WoW then 4GB is overkill.

Why can't I watch movies on my computer?

I downloaded Black Hawk Down via Torrent. The movie is longer than usual, other movies are usually of 1.5 hours. How long does it take for a nerve that has been severed in the foot during surgery take to completely heal?

My dad had surgery about 2 years ago now the Dr. that did the surgery severed a nerve in his foot. Since then he has been from doc to doc to see if anyone could possibly help relieve the pain with no success. He describes the pain as it you were to wrap your foot in barbwire and stick in a bee hive. He was told that nerves heal from your head down and since his is in his foot it would be a long time for it to be completely healed. There is not a day that goes by that he is not in pain and has been so since the surgery. He has been on a number of medications for the pain and he says all they really do is make it so he can tolerate it a little better.He has also tried the TENS Unit with no change. We just want to no if he will have to live with the pain in his foot for the rest of his life? How long does it usually take for nerves to heal? And what can be expected in the future? He is up for any suggestions that may help make it more bearable.

I've always been curious how adoptees feel about both sets of parents. I always assumed I would be eager to meet my birth parents (I've always been interested in my ancestors and genealogy anyway) but then again I wasn't adopted. Don't get me wrong, I definitely see why some people view it as total abandonment, but this is the way I see it: The birth parents wanted their kid to have a better life than they were able to give them (financially, emotionally, etc.). Sorry to hear about the loss of your pet. They can be much like family to us. I absolutely do believe that animals can have spirits that can linger behind. I , myself, have had an experience with the spirit of a dog while walking down an alley one early evening. It caught me totally off guard as that was the last thing I was expecting to run in to but that's what I seemed to of encountered. I had my hand down to my side and from out of nowhere I felt the wet snout of a dog come up and put it in my right hand. It was like it wanted attention and wanted me to pet it. I immediately reacted as I knew what it was. Ive had dogs before and they can be hyper and affectionate like that. When I looked and reached down I even caught myself saying aloud "Hey Puppy"....but when I looked where the dog should of been , it was not there. I was so confuesed. I did a 360 and looked all around for it but cold not see or find a dog anywhere around. I was thinking how odd this was and it made no sense. It was still light out so I could see everything around. I could of not gotten away from me that fast. I stood there for a moment confused and considered that I could of just experienced a ghost. Just then , I heard a dog howl off in the neighborhood. My hairs stood on end. After the dog that was howling stoped , every dog in every backyard around me started barking. I started walking just then... I was very curious, a little creeped out but not afraid. To this day I do believe in spirits and ghosts. This is very much an aspect to our reality. Take care.

Distended stomach, please help?

I am quite fit and healthy, I exercise practically everyday (mostly kickboxing, walking, and strength training). I also try my best to make sure I eat very healthy. I'm lactose intolerant I'm not much for meat/fish but I make sure to get all my nutrients in my meals. I'm 5'8" and weigh around 120 (it varies from 120 to 123 from time to time). I have a pretty strong core and I know there is still a small amount of fat around my stomach but my stomach always looks HUGE. I have some GI problems but I'm on medicine for that and my stomach doesn't hurt or feel bloated. Is there something I could be doing wrong or something that I'm not doing to fix this?

Hi I have a question about black stools?

ok so I went to the ER the other day becasue I was having sbad stomach pains. I have been putting up with stomach problems for the last 5 months and have been to the doctor a number of times. I am on nexium for an ulcer and the ER doctor told me that they couldnt do anything for my cuase i just being in sever pain that you cant move is not an emergency. She said that i would have to wait till my scop in 3 weeks to find anything out...She also told me to try some pepto bismol......which i did as the doctor order and finish offa bottle in two day ( you can take up to 8 times a day) ....i was reading about it and pepto bismol makes ulcers bleed!!! So i have conocluded my doctor was not very smart about that.....but I am feeling a bit better however I have black stools and I know pepto can turn them black, but I am afraid that it also made my ulcer bleed and that is why they are black....idk...If it was bleeding would there be a lot of pain?? or is there a way I can tell if i am bleeding through an ulcer. I would go to the doctor but when they find out that i was taking pepto they will just dismiss it as that and not do any test.

I have had two guinea pigs for about 4 years now, but just today one of them died. He was in the age range of the life expectancy of his species. But Eddy's death (the guinea pigs death) leaves me in a dilema, i am still in school and don't have that much spare time to give special attention to Ed (the live guinea pig) because he used to happily play with Eddy and i would spend a little time with them daily. Should I do a counter copyright notification on Cartoon Network?

So I have two copyright strikes on youtube because of cartoon network. The first one was reasonable (Ed, Edd, n Eddy episodes). But then the second one, I think is wrong. I uploaded a gameplay/playthrough of Ed, Edd, n Eddy to the edstreme game on Cartoon Network's website. And I'm afraid I'm going to get sued. And I don't want to lose my account, because I've had it since I was a little kid. So, should I counter notify Cartoon Network?

Have you ever worked without a alcohol severs license temporally when one was needed?

I am working for a place as a cocktail waitress seasonally that requires alcohol severs license. I have no problem with that but my state requires live training, so I can not get it online. They only provide that once a month in my state and the next one is not until July 24. The job starts on July 2. I will be getting my servers license then but until then I will not have it. Can I still get arrested or get the place in trouble if I work this way until then even though it is not my fault there training is not until then?

Im only 16 and am 14 weeks pregnant so no judgement here...Take your test in the morning when you get up, HTC levels are much higher then and thats what shows pregnancy in an at home urine test. How to leave a company when you feel you have been forced out?

Following my previous question, how on earth do you leave a company that you have felt forced out of? The people who have treated me badly know who they are however, they are acting slightly weird as they have been discussing a leaving do etc...but then on some days they have completely ignored me. I am currently working my notice...and to be honest, I'm not working to my best, I even took a day off sick last Friday as I just didn't see why I should go in. eat healthier, eat less junk food, and drink LOTS of water. oh and I tried this remedy it kind of works amd I suggest you try it: warm up a mug of water for 30 seconds and put a big teaspoonful of salt in it and stir it up. dunk a cottonball in the water. take it out and don't put it on your face until after 30 seconds and make sure you squeezed some water out so it is damp. put it on your pimple(s) for 3 minutes. after that, take 2 dry cotton balls and try to push on that pimple from both sides trying to push it down (I'm not sure why but I heard it's necessary and pushes the pimple down). then mix a few drops of pure lemon or lime juice with a teaspoonful of honey. take a cottontip and apply that to your pimple. leave it on for at least 20 minutes. oh amd I also put sunscreen on my face to keep it really moisturized. this all helps a little. good luck!

My daughter has been experiencing sever lower abdominal / pelvic pains for about 5 years now. The pains started when she was 15. It's a sharp vicious pain that comes on and lasts for 10+ minutes. My shin splint pain has moved upward, what does this mean?

I've had shin splints for the longesttttt time ever!(since April) And I've done about everything under the sun to try and get rid of them but nothing seems to have worked. I rested, got orthoditics in my shoes, built up slowly after rest, have been strengthening my hip and core muscles along with balance and stability, and have been icing 3 times a day for 20 minutes each, and running on only soft surfaces now that I have had to start training for cross country again. This is everythingggg that has been suggested to me and I'm running out of options, I was checked for a stress fracture about a week ago and its likely that that's not the problem. Now the pain seems to have moved upward, to the point where it almost seems like it's not quite in my shin anymore? It's pretty close to my knee now, but not quite up high enough that its knee pain but it still doesn't feel like shin pain. Currently enrolled at a cc, what classes should i take if i want to be a doctor but transfer ASAP to a UC?

im currently enrolled at my local cc and hope to work in the medical field someday, specifically as an obgyn. I just graduated from high school and all i feel at this moment is great regret for not trying to do my best academically and for not applying to many CS's and no UC's ( didn't think i had a chance for UC). I did get into a few cal states but opted not to go as I was told it was easier to transfer from a community college to a UC. As of now im stuck at a cc, which so far sucks because I haven't been able to get ANY of my core classes. Since I'm completely new to all this and no one in my family or group of friends is familiar with all this current college stuff, I need someone to give me some helpful advice from their experience. I'm very confused as to how the whole becoming a doctor process works in my situation. What classes should i take at my cc and how and when would i be able to transfer? If i do transfer what classes am i suppose to take at the cs or uc i go into? then theres med school? I apologize for asking so many questions that may or may not be obvious but i really need advice at the moment so thank you for your consideration :)
